厚生労働省は8日、COVID-19のオミクロン株に対応したワクチンの接種を10月半ばにも始める方針であるという。使用するのは従来株に加えてオミクロン株「BA.1」に対応した2価ワクチンとされる。ファイザーとモデルナがオミクロン株に対応するワクチンを開発しており、政府は両社から9月中に輸入を行う計画である模様。このうちファイザーはオミクロン株対応のワクチンの承認申請を厚生労働省におこなったとしている（毎日新聞、日経新聞）。

接種は無料で実施される方向のようだ。接種対象は2回接種を終えたすべての人を想定しているという。合わせて8日におこなわれた審議会では4回目の接種拡大を見送る方針も了承されたという。従来型をこれから打つより、比較的高い効果が期待できる改良ワクチンを優先する方向で一致したとしている。

合わせてCOVID-19の感染を調べる抗原検査キットの販売を月内にも解禁する方向で調整中だそうだ。第7波では発熱外来に患者が殺到した結果、検査を受けにくい状態が生じている。こうした検査キットのネット販売は医師会などの慎重論が強かったことから実現してこなかった。しかし、第7波を強い行動制限なしで乗り切るには、さらなる検査機会の拡充が不可欠と判断したという（日経新聞）。

告発状によれば、Tesla は ADAS を「Autopilot」「Full Self-Driving Capability」などと呼び、自律走行が可能であるかのように虚偽の宣伝をしたという。具体的には、「運転席に座った人が何もしなくても短距離・長距離の移動が可能」と述べたり、「家で車に行き先を知らせるだけで (知らせない場合は車が自動でカレンダーをチェックして行き先を探し) 最適なルートで目的地まで移動でき、目的地で降りるだけで車が自動で駐車場を探して駐車し、携帯電話をタップすればあなたのもとに戻ってくる」などと述べていたとのこと。

その後、「現在有効になっている技術ではドライバーによる積極的な監視が必要であり、自律走行車になるわけではない」との但し書きが追加された。しかし、虚偽またはミスリーディングな元の主張と相反する但し書きはミスリーディングであり、違反状態を解消することはできないとのこと。虚偽またはミスリーディングな宣伝行為はカリフォルニア州の自動車法第 11713 条 (a) に違反し、同法第 11705 条 (a) (10) によりディーラー免許の停止などの処分を受ける可能性があるとのことだ。

VirusTotal の報告書「Deception at scale: How malware abuses trust」によれば、似せたアイコンを使用するマルウェアが多い正規アプリトップ 3 は Skype と Adobe Acrobat、VLC だったそうだ (VirusTotal Blog の記事、 HackRead の記事)。

調査はダウンロード回数の多い正規の Windows アプリケーション 25 本に似せたアイコンを使用するサンプルが対象だ。マルウェアとして判定されたサンプルに占める割合でみると、Skype (28.0 %)・Adobe Acrobat (18.2 %)・VLC (17.6 %) の 3 本で 63.8 % を占め、7zip (11.5 %)・Team Viewer (7.5 %)・CCleaner (5.6 %) を含めると 88.4 % にのぼる。

一方、正規アプリと似たアイコンのサンプルに占めるマルウェアの割合が高いのは Adobe Acrobat・Skype・7zip の 3 本で、いずれも 75 % 以上がマルウェアだったという。具体的な数字は記載されていないが、Adobe Acrobat と似たアイコンのサンプルでは 90 % 以上がマルウェアだったようだ。
